Sr. Brand Manager - Multicultural Marketing



The Sr. Multicultural & Inclusive Manager will be responsible for elevating multicultural and inclusive marketing across a portfolio of brands (with a focus on Chivas, Altos and Avion) to promote business growth in an increasingly diverse marketplace. This team will embed cultural insights that both value and celebrate cultural diversity and highlight human truths that unite ensuring all brands engage in authentic and culturally relevant ways. They will develop metrics and ensure measurement methods are in place to track performance and ensure business growth among multicultural groups.

They will also serve as a Diversity and Inclusion champion and will have a seat at the table with Human Resources, Employee Resource Groups and other Diversity and Inclusion initiatives to lift the organization’s capabilities. They will develop company-wide resources to educate and inspire the organization to drive inclusivity and cultural understanding and develop a Multicultural (MC) Marketing Learning Agenda and facilitate MC Marketing Training and immersions.  

The Sr Multicultural & Inclusive Marketing Manager will report directly to the Director Multicultural & Inclusive Marketing.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Provide expertise to brand management that evaluate inclusive, cultural marketing to supports PRUSA’s commitment to diversity + inclusion

  • Ensure all marketing campaigns and content are authentic, inclusive and supports diversity + inclusion
  • Heavily consult on key brands where integrated multicultural marketing plans are critical
  • Always-on monitoring of culture, diversity + inclusion trends and marketing industry developments

Collaborate with internal stakeholders globally, including BrandCos, brand management and channel teams and external partners, (agencies, distributors), on cultural and inclusive marketing.

Provide marketing and commercialization diversity, culture + inclusion expertise across LGBTQ+, AF-AM, LatinX, Asian and more.

Job Requirements:

The role requires a highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across functions with passion and enthusiasm. Strong entrepreneurial ability to work around obstacles, results driven, and a bias for action with a pilot/learn/scale approach.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or MBA or master’s degree in marketing, business management, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing to specific multicultural consumer groups, with proven history of executing content marketing campaigns, and developing new processes and strategies that drive business growth.
  • Experience in Hispanic Consumer Marketing
  • Desired Skill: Bilingual – high proficiency in both English & Spanish (NOT MANDATORY)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing short-term/long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Experience managing portfolio of brands and marketing programs targeting multicultural consumers, working in a cross functional environment.
  • Experience designing, developing and implementing the execution of multicultural programs and initiatives to impact cultural leadership across the organization.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information and implications both verbally, in interactions with senior leaders, and written presentations.
  • Strong communications and persuasive skills and ability to gain consensus through influence.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all marketing & D&I functions and external partners.
